My Anxiety Ring is a small family business based in Sydney, and we created it for one reason: because we know what it feels like to need something to do with your hands.
Our fidget rings — also called anxiety rings, worry rings, or spinner rings — are beautiful pieces of jewellery designed with a movable element you can spin or roll with your fingers. The repetitive motion gives your hands something purposeful to do, quietly redirecting restless energy without drawing attention to what you're actually doing. To everyone around you, you're wearing a stunning ring. Only you know it's doing more.
Whether you're reaching for your nails in a meeting, picking at your skin when you're overwhelmed, or just need something to ground you during a stressful day, one of our rings can become the discreet daily companion that finally makes a real difference. Thousands of Australians — men, women, teens, and children — wear them every single day.
A fidget ring is a ring with a movable component — either a spinning outer band that rotates around the inner ring, or small beads that roll around the band. The movement is quiet, subtle, and requires just one hand. You can wear it in meetings, at school, on public transport, or anywhere you need something small to occupy your fingers.
These rings go by several names — anxiety rings, worry rings, fidgeting rings, rings for anxiety — and they all describe the same idea: wearable jewellery that quietly keeps your hands busy. Our range includes spinner rings with a rotating outer band, rings with rolling beads, and open-band styles that fit any finger without knowing your exact size.
When anxiety or stress builds up, it often comes out through the hands — nail biting, skin picking, hair twirling, finger tapping. These habits aren't character flaws. They're the nervous system looking for an outlet. A ring gives it one.
The act of spinning or rolling redirects that nervous energy into something neutral and repetitive. It keeps the hands occupied without requiring conscious thought, which means you can focus on whatever you're doing — working, studying, sitting in a waiting room — while the ring quietly does its job.
Many of our customers also manage ADHD, OCD, trichotillomania, and dermatillomania, where repetitive movement helps regulate attention and reduce the urge to engage in harmful habits. People write to us regularly to say their rings helped them stop biting their nails or picking their skin — sometimes for the first time after years of trying.

Our rings are worn by people of all ages across Australia. Many customers are women who discovered that a beautiful ring could quietly replace an anxious habit they'd been carrying for years. A significant number are men — particularly our titanium, tungsten, and stainless steel styles — who wanted something understated and durable for everyday wear.
Parents regularly buy for teenagers who struggle with anxiety or ADHD at school. A ring that sits on a finger during class — quietly spinning or rolling — gives a child something to focus on that doesn't distract other students and doesn't need explaining to a teacher. Several customers have told us their children's teachers actively encouraged them to keep wearing it in class.
A large proportion of our orders are gifts — for a friend going through a difficult time, a daughter with anxiety, a partner who bites their nails. Our open-band styles are particularly popular as gifts because they don't require knowing the recipient's ring size.
We only choose materials built for daily wear — and constant handling. Quality matters more here than with any other jewellery.
Sterling silver (925) is the most popular material in our range. It's hypoallergenic, long-lasting, and has a timeless look that works with any outfit. Our 925 silver rings are stamped with the international hallmark meaning 92.5% pure silver. If you've ever worn a ring that turned your finger green, that's a copper-base ring. Ours won't. Browse our full range of sterling silver fidget rings for every style in 925 silver.
Stainless steel is our most affordable and most durable option. Waterproof, scratch-resistant, tarnish-proof, and hypoallergenic — our stainless steel fidget rings are a great entry point and particularly popular with men and teenagers.
Gold-plated sterling silver gives you the warm look of gold without the solid gold price. We use 18k gold plating on a 925 silver base — not the copper-base plating common in cheap fashion jewellery, which fades quickly and can cause skin reactions. The silver base means the ring will outlast most gold-plated alternatives on the market.
We also carry individual styles in titanium and tungsten for those who want something exceptionally strong. Our black titanium anxiety ring is lightweight and hypoallergenic, while our tungsten gear ring for men is virtually scratch-proof and one of the most durable rings we carry.
Our collection includes several distinct styles. The right one depends on what feels good in your hands and what you're trying to manage.
These feature an outer band that rotates freely around the inner band — you can spin it continuously with your thumb, which many people find almost meditative. Available in sterling silver, stainless steel, and gold-plated finishes.
These have small movable beads that roll around the band — a more tactile, deliberate motion than spinning. Our beaded anxiety rings work particularly well for people who struggle with skin picking or nail biting, because the rolling motion gives the fingers something to do that mimics the habit without the harm.
An open band that can be gently widened or narrowed to fit any finger. Our adjustable anxiety rings are ideal as gifts when you don't know the recipient's ring size, or if you like to switch fingers depending on the day. Most of our sterling silver and gold-plated ranges come in adjustable styles.
Sculptural animal designs — dragons, foxes, and other detailed shapes — that provide a rich tactile experience alongside a striking look. Our sensory rings are particularly popular with customers managing ADHD or sensory processing needs, and all are claimable through the NDIS for eligible participants.

We're a small Sydney family business, not a warehouse. Every ring in our collection is chosen for its quality, its functionality, and its design. When you reach out with a question, you're talking directly to us — and we always respond.

Printed gift and poem cards. Every order includes a beautiful card at no extra cost — choose from a Fidget Ring poem card, Self Love, To My Son, My Beautiful Daughter, or My Beautiful Granddaughter, each designed to be kept rather than discarded. We also include a dedicated teacher information card for children: if a teacher questions whether a ring is allowed in class, your child has a card ready to hand over explaining exactly what an anxiety ring is and why it has therapeutic benefits. No other Australian anxiety ring brand offers this.

Which finger do you wear a fidget ring on?
There's no rule. Most people find the index finger works well because you can spin or roll with the thumb from the same hand without it being obvious. Others prefer the middle finger or thumb. Open-band styles make it easy to switch fingers depending on the day.
Do fidget rings actually help with anxiety?
For many people, yes. They won't replace professional mental health support, but as a daily tool for managing the physical expression of anxiety through the hands, they make a genuine difference for a large number of people. The repetitive motion engages the nervous system in a way that reduces the urge toward more harmful habits, and focusing on a physical sensation can help ground you during an anxious moment.
Do they help with nail biting?
This is one of the most common reasons people buy from us, and the results our customers report are genuinely impressive. By giving your hands something to do the moment the urge to bite appears, the ring interrupts the automatic reach to your mouth. Many customers report significant improvement within days to weeks of wearing consistently.
Can the rings get wet?
It depends on the material. Our stainless steel styles are completely waterproof — shower, swimming, beach, no problem. Sterling silver is water-resistant but should be removed before prolonged exposure to water, chlorine, or perfume, as these accelerate tarnishing. We stockConnoisseurs silver cleaning cloths and solution to keep your silver looking its best.
Can they be resized?
Our open-band adjustable styles can be gently widened or narrowed — no resizing needed. Fixed-size rings (most stainless steel styles) cannot be resized, so check the size guide before ordering. When in doubt, choose an adjustable style.
What's the difference between a fidget ring and a spinner ring?
"Fidget ring" is the broad category — any ring with a movable element. "Spinner ring" is a specific type where the outer band rotates around a stationary inner band. Rings with rolling beads are also fidget rings, but not spinner rings. Spinner rings are a subcategory within the wider family.
Because our rings are designed for daily wear and constant handling, they benefit from regular cleaning. Sterling silver develops a natural patina over time, and a quick clean restores its shine in minutes. We stock a range ofjewellery cleaning products — including Connoisseurs polishing cloths and liquid cleaners — formulated for precious metals and safe to use on all our ring materials.
